Senior Product Manager, IBM Whitespace

- Product lead for internal accelerator aiming to commercialize IP across emerging tech groups
- Pitch to executive stakeholders to fund POD teams (engineering, design & product); confirmed 2, implementing now
- Research business unit product opportunity areas, their markets and users; define pain points that POD teams will solve for
- Submit patent ideas related to product opportunities within business units that work with us
- Manage POD team; take on similar responsibilities to prior IBM job with Watson Personalized Marketing, but applied to this team to define, design, develop and launch a brand new product based on winning IP idea from IBM wide competition

- Dedicated half of my time to work for Gofleetly, an IBM Whitespace incubated eCommerce startup
- First hire by the founding team to support with Go-to-market, UI enhancements and to manage all marketing efforts

Product Manager, Watson Marketing Software (divested from IBM, became Acoustic)

- Managed Watson Social Advertising, Watson Group Messaging and weather data in Watson Campaign Automation
- Researched markets and users; developed and executed product roadmap and go-to-market plans
- Collaborated closely with engineering to define requirements for feature enhancements
- Partnered with and enabled sales and marketing with all product messaging and communication to clients; attended client meetings, wrote blog posts, created sales assets and attended and spoke at conferences
- Lead creation of product documentation and worked with information design to ensure it was clear to users
- Defined and articulated strategy for product features and provided recommendations for where to invest resources
- Managed 7 person research team of product management and design new hires to identify areas to infuse AI into our advertising software to enable users to be better advertisers without added effort
- Project managed the end of life process for eMessage, a web-based enterprise scale marketing message solution

- Conceived, designed, and directed the development of a mood tracking IoT product aimed at improving emotional awareness and connections with the people we care about most
- Lead all research, business development, strategy, and vision; define technical roadmap
